Whole Again
Whole Again(WA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded through WOCC in 2004 whose vision is to see faith-based organizations engaged in the community to make children and families whole again. Over 1500 at-risk children each year are fed and enriched at no cost during the summer months through WA.
Program and Overall Effectiveness Children who face “food insecurity” and receive free or reduced-fee meals at school during the school year are provided balanced, nutritional breakfast and lunch every day for 10 weeks during the summer. This is made possible by awards from USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), Ohio Department of Education, ecumenical organizations, business, government, and private sector donations. Since 2005, the number of sites has increased from 8 to 21. In 2011, the total daily attendance rate reached over 1500 children and served 70,455 meals. |

Churches Active In Northside
We partner with churches in Northside to provide free weekly meals to those in the community who need it. (Hebrews 13:2) We are called to be an instrument through which the whole Body of Christ in Northside can be a visible, dynamic, and transforming presence in the community of Northside. The Vision is that CAIN is envisioned as a Shared Ministry Center promoting that unity of Spirit, purpose and fellowship among our churches that brings spiritual renewal to our neighborhood and city.
